WORKSHOP

Saturday February 10th

10am - 2.30pm

Sun Style
Modified 30 Form

Sun Style is the youngest of the major styles.

It was created by Sun Lu-tang (1861-1932).

Hao taught Tai Chi to Sun, and it is said that after a short time learning Wu/Hao style he created his own style

with influences from Wu, Xingyquan and Baguaquan (two famous internal martial art styles).

Sun Style is characterised by a high stance and agile steps. Whenever one foot moves forward or backwards

the other foot  follows.

Its movements flow smoothly like a river, and there are powerful Qigong  exercises whenever the direction is changed.

This Sun Style short form is easy to learn and provides a strong foundation for your

Tai Chi whichever style you choose to practise.
